We have introduced two-factor authentication as a general security standard. This is used to prevent unauthorized access to your profile and cannot be bypassed or removed.
As soon as we detect a login attempt made by a device or Internet browser that you have not used before, we will immediately send a 4-digit verification code to the email address you entered in your profile. For security reasons, this code is only valid for 6 hours.
If you access eharmony with multiple devices or Internet browsers, you will need a unique verification procedure for each device and browser. Once you have verified a device or browser with a code, there is no need to re-enter the code.
Please note, however, that a cookie will be set for the verification, which our system uses to recognize a verification that has already been carried out. For example, if the cookies for eharmony are automatically deleted when you close your browser, it is then necessary to enter a new code, since the previous verification is no longer recognized as such.

In addition to the browser settings, security software used, such as an anti-virus program or a VPN service, may also cause cookies to be automatically deleted from your browser if the option is activated in this software.
